 opie Qual took up tattooing in 1980 while working as a full time nurse. Her medical training gave her a clear understanding of sterile techniques, and she adheres to standard medical practices to this day. She also holds a degree in Graphic and Commercial Arts, and has had extensive training in Cosmetic Tattooing.

Hopie has a straightforward approach to her customers, believing that the individuality of each client should be reflected in their body art. She enjoys the challenge of providing custom cosmetics that suit the client, and considers the time she spends with each person a collaborative effort.
After more than 20 years in the profession, Hopie sees each application as a new experience. She enjoys working with all types of people from all walks of life, and truly loves her work.
